Beatrix Barkside is a private detective searching for her lost partner Boris Katson. Through her investigations, she uncovers the startling truth regarding the civil unrest in the city and the shadowy cult behind it all.

 

Led Astray is a turn-based stealth noir game, developed out of Unity3D Engine for release on mobile platforms. The development of Led Astray was inspired by the Ubisoft GO games and graphic novels such as Blacksad.

This project was the first in which I acted as a Jr. Producer and a full Narrative Designer. I worked with our game designers, artists, 3D team and UI designers from concept to production.

Narrative Designer

For this project, I took the core concept, as developed by my team, and created characters, plot, and lore. I worked with the artists, level designers, system designers, and gameplay designers to develop a cohesive narrative experience. Through this, I produced narrative documentation and scripts. I acted as the source of narrative information for the development of the game. Most of my tasks include:

  • Develop Characters, World Building, Lore and Narrative Arc.

  • Producing Documentation and Scripts​

  • Ensure Narrative Consistency 

  • Address Feedback and Adapt to Changes

 

Jr. Producer

As a Jr. Producer, I worked with all members of the team to ensure the vision and scope of the game was maintained. I oversaw meetings with the creative and technical teams and helped ensure each team remained on schedule. My main duties were:

  • Develop and Maintain Schedules

  • At as Liaison Between Development Teams

  • Supervise the Creative and Technical Development of the Game

  • Mentor Team Leads in Game Development
